As a result of continued growth we require a maintenance supervisor to lead a small team of up to 6 mobile technicians overseeing and managing reactive maintenance on council housing properties. You will have a trades background and a minimum of two years supervision experience, the position will be very much a management role and key responsibilities will include: -
·To respond to maintenance requests, planning your teams workload performing maintenance and repairs on occupied council housing and social housing properties, the main focus of the repairs will be on building fabric but will also include a range of electrical and mechanical equipment. Your main focus will be to carry out your role in an efficient and cost effective manner
·To carry out supervisory duties within an agreed geographical area
·To manage all third party contractors to ensure they complete tasks on time and within budget and to an excellent standard
·To provide on-site coaching to all engineers in your team
. Previous experience of REACTIVE maintenance is essential
You should have minimum of 2 years supervisory experience, be customer focused and had responsibility for embracing customer relationships preferably in the social housing sector.
