We are looking for a Roads & Drainage Infrastructure Engineer to join our Client, based out of Hertfordshire, with flexibility on travel to project sites across the region. You will be an Engineer knowledgeable in the design of estate roads, and foul & surface water drainage infrastructure, and obtaining associated statutory approvals.
You will:
- Be responsible for their part in the delivery & technical performance of projects to time and budget.
- Ensure that their work complies with legislation, ST IMS, Contract Performance Procedures & good practice guides.
- Promote positive culture & behaviours
Principle Duties & Accountabilities
Engineering Knowledge & Understanding
Able to apply roads & drainage infrastructure engineering knowledge and apply technical and practical skills for a wide range of project types including schools, hospitals, prisons and residential.
Engineering Application
A competent user of a wide range of software relevant to roads and drainage design including Micro Drainage Windes and AutoCAD Civils 3D. Must be able to contribute and integrate with the design & development of the wider engineering aspects of projects.
You will be well versed in the design of section 38,278 and 104's for adoption on private estates
You will be very strong with PDS and Windes design softwares
You will be well versed with the design of foul and surface drainage systems
Ideally you will have some management background with regards to graduate engineers and technicians
