URGENT REQUIREMENT - ELECTRICAL COMMISSIONING / SERVICE ENGINEER
£30,000 BASIC SALARY
PERMANENT CONTRACT

THE ROLESet up and commission equipment, both at base and on customer site.
Provide a service base for existing customers, dealing with problems over the phone, and travelling to customer site whenever required.
Produce and provide on-site training on equipment and processes.
Produce test documentation for the commissioning process.
Assist the design engineers from the conception to completion of projects
Machine variants include:
Wall-covering Printing Presses.
Automotive Heat Exchanger equipment.
Special Purpose Web Coating equipment.
General 'Special Purpose' equipment.
This includes PLC and computer controlled equipment
Overtime and extensive worldwide travel will be expected
The Person;
Must be a 'Time Served' Electrical Engineer.
Must have extensive knowledge of automated systems, with PLC / Computer control (Allen Bradley, Bosch Rexroth, Siemens, Lenze).
Must have knowledge and experience of AC Drives and Motion Control.
Must be confident to work alone at customer premises.
Must be well presented and possess reasonable negotiating skills.
Must have a clean driving license.
Preferably ONC or greater qualified.
Preferably have knowledge of Web-Transport / Winding equipment.
Preferably have knowledge of Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems.
Preferably have a sound understanding of mechanical systems.
The position may be the first step to becoming a Design Engineer, should the candidate wish.
The Roll reports directly to the Electrical Engineering Manager
