PERSON SPECIFICATION:
Proven track record as a Project Controls leader, managing teams and delivering successful solutions for clients. PCM’s should be proactive, leaders, with highly developed communications and analytical skills and able to promote a controls culture across a variety of organisations.
Project Controls Managers will lead a variety of commissions, managing teams of project controls professionals or providing consultancy services to our clients. PCM’s are expected to be a highly experienced practitioner in planning, cost and reporting disciplines. You are able to design and implement systems, processes and organisational structures that deliver effective project controls. You have experience in developing a controls-based culture within organisations.
Typical activities include managing controls teams across the full range of project control activity, providing specialist controls consultancy, advice on project controls systems and processes, training and project audit/recovery.
PCM’sshould be highly conversant in both planning and cost engineering methodologies and be able to lead an integrated project control approach to be adopted by their teams and clients. In addition they should be highly numerate and computer literate, highly competent in the use of project controls systems, familiar with the challenges of integrating project controls systems with other databases and systems. PCM’s should be able to pick up new systems readily and utilise them in highly effective ways.
