THE COMPANY
My client is a consultancy whose range covers energy and communication. They have created a wide network of professional and powerful companies in an effort to facilitate businesses in a strategic and innovative way as opposed to the traditional model of cold leads and hard selling. They have developed strong experience in the connection and metering industry over the last few years and they project manage all site works and metering which involves liaising with the local distributors, contractors, meter operators and suppliers to ensure energization on time.
THE ROLE
• Reporting to the Managing Director or team leaders, they will be required to manage the projects given to them to completion.
• The projects will include new connections & metering, new installs, alterations, load upgrades.
• Disconnections and reinstatements, of all utilities required.
• There will all so be site visits involved & some auditing of existing supplies and any new supplies required.
• There will be no physical work involved.
• Assisting clients in the calculation of load requirements
• Making formal application to the appropriate DNO
• Obtaining quotes from independent contractors – encouraging competition in connection
• Challenging quotes and technical designs - where appropriate
• Project managing all site works - ensuring deadlines are met
• Arranging metering installation & procurement of formal metering contracts
• Liaising with contractor, DNO and supplier to ensure energization on time
QUALIFICATIONS
Someone from a connections & metering/energy background who has worked for a DNO or Independent connection provider/energy supplier with connections & metering Project Management experience.
BENEFITS
• £25,000 - £30,000 dependant on experience
• 5 days a week 9-5
