Our client is a successful fit-out specialist working in a number of sectors including hotels, high-end residential, restaurants and high quality commercial interiors. They work on a wide range of projects and pride themselves on the first-rate nature of their productions.
Due to a secured workload for 2012 they are looking for an Intermediate QS to join their team.
The candidate will be working both out of the office and on site at a luxury housing refurbishment in Berkshire (value £2.5m)
Responsibilities- Overseeing cost-analysis and estimating process against an agreed Schedule of Rates.
- Management of all financial matters.
- Procurement of all sub-contract works.
- Procurement of all supply items (via Purchasing Department).
- Preparation of interim valuations.
- Chairing site & client progress meetings.
- Managing interim payments to sub-contractors.
- Regularly updating projected final accounts.
- Regular updating and managing cash flow forecasts
- Preparation and agreement of all final account matters.
- Monthly cost/value reconciliation.
- Pricing of all contract variations.
Experience Required- Experience of working high spec residential/hotels/commercial projects
- To have worked your way up from an assistant to an established intermediate QS
- The ability to run projects up to £2mil in value
