This company is a top 10 leading UK contractor specialising in construction, infrastructure and design across the public and private sectors. They are currently looking for someone to join their team in Leeds; a water background would be beneficial.

Job title: M&E Project Manager
Reports to: Batch Manager and M&E Manager

Summary
To take responsibility for the delivery of the M&E element of a project or projects though front end engineering design studies and design and build contracts
Key objectives
* Define and implement strategies for successful delivery of the M&E content of multi-discipline engineering projects
* Manage safety, time, cost and quality
* Manage M&E project resources
Principal responsibilities and accountabilities
*Represent the company and JV partner to promote our capabilities to all project stakeholders
*Determine M&E design deliverables and programme with the Lead Design Engineer to meet the requirements of the project(s)
*Coordinate and support the design team to effectively deliver design deliverables which have been viewed for procurement and build-ability
*Manage the M&E budgets and forecast through development, communication and reporting of the M&E procurement schedule and programme
*Identify requirements for project, installation and commissioning personnel required for the delivery team and manage those resources assigned
*Implement the processes and procedures for the control of subcontracts, installation, commissioning and take-over to meet the minimum requirements of the project(s)
*Monitor effectiveness of process delivery and assist with lessons learned review and cascade
Person specificationQualifications and training*Degree qualified in a relevant subject
Technical skills and experience*Experience of working within a significant heavy civil engineering and M&E project, preferably within the water industry
*High level of knowledge of Water and Waste Water processes
*Working level of knowledge of civil construction services and technologies
*Detailed knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment interdependencies
*Knowledge of construction, installation and commissioning sequences and practice
*Knowledge of process operation, statutory compliance and reporting processes
*Proficient knowledge of health and safety and environmental legislation
*Confident and well organised
*Results driven
*High level of communication, control, organising, motivational and management skills
*Proactive and committed
*Collaborative and team oriented, able to delegate comfortably
*Able to lead by example and demonstrate trust in the team
*Adaptable to change
*Excellent analytical and organisational skills
*Be in possession of a full UK driving licence
