Air Quality Consultant is required to work, within the noise and air quality team. You will be involved in the assessment of air quality for various types of projects across all business sectors from Waste Management Facilities, through Land and Property, Mining and Minerals, Renewable Energy to Transportation Schemes.
You will undertake air quality modelling and assessment works and be involved from the start to the completion of projects liaising with clients, other team members, employees across the company and third parties such as local authorities, technology providers and transport consultants throughout the process.
You must have experience, ideally within an environmental consultancy, working in the field of air quality. However the position is flexible, and it could equally suit a more senior candidate. You will need experience of air quality modelling, including DMRB, ADMS Roads and AERMOD.
You will also need excellent report writing skills and experience of preparing environmental statements and environmental permitting reports. A sound knowledge of air quality legislation and assessment procedures is important.
Ideally you will also have experience of client liaison and you will have excellent organisational and numerical skills with experience of managing your own workload.
It is essential that you are educated to degree level (or equivalent) with a first degree and/or masters qualification in Environmental Sciences (or similar) or Air Quality.
