Due to an extensive programme of refurbishment and infrastructure works Marshalls Aerospace are now looking to expand their Project Management capabilities.
That is why Hays Consulting Engineering is working in partnership with them to recruit an Infrastructure Project Manager to join their projects team reporting into the Infrastructure Projects Director.
The purpose of the role is to Project Manage the delivery of infrastructure projects. These projects will vary from £200k - 10 million and will include airfield pavement and rehabilitation of the runway, refurbishment and new build commercial projects.
So we are looking for someone who has a degree in Civil Engineering and proven experience of working on heavy civils projects. Ideally this person will have experience of aviation projects although this is not essential.
Project Management skills are highly important and the successful applicant will need to show experience of running multiple projects and programmes of works to the NEC contract form as well as having practical hands on experience in a Clerk of Works capacity.
Day-to-day management of the contractor is a key part of the role, along with the ability to support and work closely with the QS. As a result this person will need to be confident in preparing reports, value engineering and comfortable communicating at all levels.
