Cad Technician/Detailer (Rebar)

Required by the leading rebar fabrication and installation company in Canada who have 70 fabrication shops in various locations across North America.
They have been associated with some of the largest civil engineering and construction projects in various sectors including motorway, bridges, skyscrapers, rail and metro.
You are required to prepare shop drawings to generate bar lists, bending schedules and bills of materials used to accurately fabricate the reinforcing steel which is installed in the concrete formwork.
You will have relevant qualifications coupled with at least 3 years experience dealing with drafting techniques for reinforced steel drawings.
Ideally have experience of working for a rebar detailing company, or relevant exposure in a similar area in relation to steel and structural concrete structures.
Essential Requirements:
- recognised third level qualification
- experience of CAD-RC and/or related software packages
- knowledge of civil/structural engineering drafting
