Our client is the leading oilfield services provider, trusted to deliver superior results and improved E&P performance for oil and gas companies around the world.

Environmental Engineer required for their Water & Carbon Services Division.

Description:
The Environmental Engineer provides technical input to a wide variety of hydrogeological and hydrological projects, including mining hydrology, hydroecology and environmental impact assessments. He/she plans, coordinates and implements environmental impact studies to assess environmental degradation arising from industrial and mining activities, and formulates pragmatic mitigation measures. He/she also elaborates and coordinates environmental baseline studies, environmental management and monitoring plans, and mine closure plans. He/she works with experienced professionals in multidisciplinary teams that often include team members located in other Water Services offices.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in earth sciences or related subject, and a master’s degree in environmental engineering.
Minimum of five years of relevant experience as an environmental engineer in the field of water management.
Deep knowledge of environmental impact assessments and base line studies.
Fluency in English.
Spanish language skills an advantage.
Experience with Water Services software is a plus (Visual MODFLOW*, HydroGeo Analyst*, AquaChem*, AquiferTest*).
Flexibility and desire to undertake occasional international travel and assignments.
