Primary Job Responsibilities

As a Principal Architect you will be working on variety of commercial and specialist projects.Responsibilities include: -

  • Leading the design for medium sized projects
  • Working in a multi-disciplinary design team
  • Liaising with clients, engineers and other design team members
  • Maintaining technical quality
  • Ensuring project financial performance
  • Develop and maintaining excellent client relationships
  • Support business development initiatives
Training and Experience

Essential:

  • Extensive experience in the design of buildings
  • Experience in leading the architectural design of medium projects
  • Proven ability to work as part of a team, liaising directly with clients, engineers and other design team members
  • Architectural Degree
  • RIBA Part III
  • ARB Member

Desirable:

  • Managing multi-disciplinary design teams.
  • Experience in managing a variety of types of construction contracts.
  • RIBA Member
  • Strong presentational skills
  • Architectural Awards - RIBA, Building Design, Architects Journal etc
