My Client, a major world wide civil engineering contractor are currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to supplement their commercial team working on a number of major civil engineering contracts in Central and East London involving structures, earthworks and geotechnical engineering. The successful candidate will be required to maintain effective communication with contract managers, project managers. The essential qualifications and experience for this position will be: Knowledge of quantity surveying to corporate member level of ICES or RICS (preferred) or equivalent: Successful experience at quantity surveyor level. Thorough knowledge of construction procedures and working methods. Enhanced understanding of construction law and contractual terms in all standard contract forms Qualified to HND or Degree level in Civil Engineering or Construction related subject. An excellent competitive salary will be offered to the successful candidate.
