One of my largest International Multi-Discipline consultancies are urgently seeking Senior Electrical Design Engineers to join their vibrant team in Dubai and Abu Dhabi
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Carry out Building Services (Air-Conditioning, Drainage, Domestic water, Fire Protection, LPG etc) design to ASHRAE, British Standards and D.M. regulations.
Coordinate with Architects, Structural Engineers and Electrical Engineers and any other design consultants.
Coordinate with, instruct and supervise Electrical Engineers and Auto CAD Technicians.
Carry out arithmetical checks and independent design checks of other Engineer’s design and design reviews.
Report to the Principal Electrical Engineer.
To coordinate on a day-to-day basis for which the design of projects they have been appointed with other members of the design team.
Compile Tender Documents.
Manage Electrical project DM / DEWA submittals and NOC Process.
Attend external project co-ordination meetings.
You will ideally have a BSc Degree with 10 years post graduation experience in design of Building Services for Towers & other Buildings.
Experience in the Middle East wold be an advantage but is not essential.
Experience in High Rise Commercial, Residential and Hotel projects.
Ability to write minutes and reports.
Working knowledge of the following: Computer design package E-20, Hevacomp, Excel, Word, Outlook.
