A multi-national British based Engineering Consultants require a Public Health Engineer for their Dubai office.

Responsibilities
Undertake duties and responsibilities as Delegated Design Authority as directed by Head of Profession.
Review design submissions for compliance with; specifications and user requirements; safety requirements.
Apply legislation; British standards; Codes of Practice and good engineering principles.
Attendance at Design Review as the 'Public Health Engineering' representative for projects of a multi-discipline nature for all projects and facility modifications.
Where required to Chair Design Reviews.
Provide advice and answer Technical Queries on Public Health Engineering to Facility Managers, Projects etc.
Undertake design work as directed by Head of Profession.
Co-ordinate Public Health Engineering works activities.
Maintain effective working relationships with other Authorities and disciplines.

Qualifications
Extensive experience in Public Health engineering, preferably in a large infrastructure project and aware of issues in the design of complex facilities.

Skills
Broad experience of Public Health Engineering, in both conventional and hazardous environments.
Knowledge and understanding of technical standards and regulatory requirements for Construction.
Sound Knowledge and understanding of safety systems and safety administration.

Salaries are dependant on experience and qualification.
