Qualifications:
Excellent2D computer design skills with AutoCAD or Microstation, skills with MSExcel, MS Word, MS Access, ability to create accurate design drawingsfrom base project information
Desirable (but not essential) with Experience with 3D modelling systems such as PDS, PDMS or AutoPlant.
Some experience with advanced engineering design & data systems such as SmartPlant P&ID, SmartPlant Foundation.
Relevant degree or approved certificate from a state or technical education department or equivalent
Self motivated inventive design skills, Drafting, Layout & Graphical Skills
Minimum of 5 years relevant piping design / drafting experience
Competent in Conceptual Design, Drawing Production, Mathematics, Computing, Graphical Presentation, Communication in English
Reporting to the Lead Piping Designer will be required to produce & check design deliverables & lists for given project
Maintain project files
Liaise with other disciplines to develop overall facility layout / design
Conduct squad checks
Production of conceptual layouts & surveys
Equipment modelling in 3D model
Routing of lines in accordance with P&ID’s in 3D model
Production of Piping General Arrangements & Isometrics
Checking of GA’s & Isometrics
Production of piping MTO’s
Checking of piping MTO’s
Salary is negotiable depending on level of experience
