Job Description:
OurBurnaby office is currently looking for a Process Piping Draftspersonto support our expanding water/wastewater treatment practice onprojects throughout British Columbia.
Duties will focusprimarily on the preparation of preliminary and final design drawingsfor water and wastewater treatment plants and pumping stations,reservoirs and ancillary structures under the direction of a seniordesigner.
Requirements:
Thesuccessful candidate will possess a diploma in Mechanical EngineeringTechnology or Drafting from an accredited technical college orequivalent experience.
The ideal candidate will have a minimumof least 2 years of experience in the preparation of process mechanicaldesign drawings using AutoCAD Software. Knowledge of instrumentationand control systems (P&IDs) would be a definite asset.
The ability to become registered with ASTTBC would be a definite asset.
Yourinterpersonal and communication skills enable you to effectivelycommunicate a wide variety of people including engineers, designers andsupport team members, and clients.
