Mechanical Design Engineer - Building Services
Hertfordshire

Our client is an established firm of Building Services Engineers, with considerable experience and a proven track record in the design, planning, execution, supervision and management of building services installations. They are currently looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer.

Duties and Responsibilities:

*Undertake calculations relevant to mechanical HVAC installations within major building projects.
*Design mechanical installations to meet all existing, relevant British Standards, Building Regulations and other relevant standards.

Requirements:

*Understanding of the role of the engineer in the design process.
*At least HNC (HND desired) in relevant engineering subject, e.g. Building Services Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
*Software skills including: IES, Hevacomp, Barbour Index, Specification Expert, Microsoft Office would be an advantage
