Our client is well established company providing Consulting Engineering Services for a range of projects throughout the UK. Their comprehensive service is tailored to meet the exacting demands of client's requirements.

Currently they are looking for an Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineer.

Role:

*Undertake design calculations relevant to the design of mechanical HVAC installations within major building projects.
*Design mechanical installations to meet requirements for energy efficiency and low carbon requirements.
*Have an understanding of electrical engineering systems and the ability to report on both disciplines during meetings, etc.

Requirements:

*At least 5 years of experience within a similar role
*Ability to apply theoretical principles to the practical design of building systems
*Experience from other sectors would be an advantage
*Detailed knowledge of engineering design approach and fundamentals of mechanical engineering
*Understanding of the role of the engineer in the design process, good all rounder
*Degree or at least Higher Educational Certificate In a Mechanical Engineering
*Knowledge of industry software including: IES, Hevacomp, TAS, AutoCAD would be an advantage

£30,000 - £35,000 + benefits (depending on performance)
