I have been reading about the dangers of working with foamed concrete and the potential build-up of hydrogen, and wondered if anyone had any experience of this and tips for working with the stuff.

In one instance, foamed concrete was used on a water works decommissioning project and sparks from an angle grinder ignited a build-up of hydrogen under the concrete. Workers were injured in the explosion that resulted.

I'm worried about the possibility of something similar happening on a project we have coming up.

Does anyone have any experience of using foam concrete?

Have a look in here Fred, I am aware of such problems but have not been involved with the product.
