Our Clients are Home owners Building Construction Companies. KOKE GROUP LTD giving Handy man services, repairs, Building Contracting Home Improvement/Renovation, Loft convertions Building Extentions, from small to big up to £2M projects. The successful candidate will be reporting directly to the Estimating Manager and will work within the Bid Team for the preparation of fully considered submissions. The overall purpose of the role will be to prepare accurate cost plans and detailed estimates, identifying true net cost to our pre booked Clients and enable the Company to fulfil its business objectives.Bid Officer:As Bid officer you will report to the Commercial Manager, managing and delivering Bids from opportunity conception through the online tendering programs and holding responsibility for direct online bids. You will work with Commercial Managers, Operations Managers and other senior managers to ensure that the proposals reflect the strategic objectives of the bid service delivery, as well as directing and managing the Estimators Phurchasing manager. Must have good sales, negotiation and communication skills with our clients, managing clients Bookings.- Preparing the Estimator/Surveyor/Sales team for the clients bookings.- IT literacy including Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Email. Excellent with Word. - Extensive knowledge and experience of the social housing market. - Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills. - Excellent organisational and planning skills.- Highly experienced at Bid Managing in the social housing maintenance sector.- Must have least 2 years knowladge of Building Construction Home Improvement recorded past experrianceNote: On offer for the successful Bid Managers/Officers, is a highly competitive salary we can offer. as due to daily up to 10s of contracts we rather give percentage on our each contracts, (dependant on experience),. Estimator & Cost Manager:Basic requirements:" Live a reasonable distance from London and surrounding Home Counties witihin 50 Mile radius from London Head office." Building experience" Have a commercial background (QS'ing) - this is important for the negotiation procedure" would be more than happy consider (S)QS who has done some estimating in the past" Is adjustable to new styles of working - ie a framework is different to tendered works" Is IT literate, needs to be able to use complex spreadsheets" Is comfortable in dealing with a client face to face and working within their officesReporting into the Commercial Manager, your main focus will be to Estimate building refurbishment Home improvement, Design giving Best Spoke advise.Other key responsibilities include: -- Working under own direction, with minimal supervision within a Bid Team environment whilst maintaining Group Estimating procedures and philosophy.- Receiving, acknowledging and checking tender documentation and (along with other members of the Bid Team) raise queries relating to the tender documentation.- Evaluating the tender information and prepare tender action plan and contribute to Bid Strategy (along with other members of the Bid Team).- Attending meetings with the Professional or Design teams both during and post tender.- Evaluating and comparing quotations received.- Ensuring the safe delivery of the tender on date of submission.- Presenting the estimate at the Finalisation Meeting supported by a fully priced net cost build up with a full knowledge and understanding of the project in the form of a fully completed Tender Quality Plan with a full knowledge and understanding of the project.- Liaising with members of the bid team as appropriate, ensuring all aspects of the tender documentation are fully understood and responded to, advising the team on cost, buildability and programme where appropriate. - Having a good working knowledge of the local market, complying with, and promoting the Core Supply Chain philosophy in the preparation of the tender enquiry list with the Bid Team.- Maintaining regular contact with clients and consultant teams, acting at all times in accordance with the Company's values, ensuring that working relationships with internal and external customers are consistent with the highest standards.In addition to the above, applications for consideration at Senior Estimator level should also be able to demonstrate the following skills:- To be able to manage prebooked sales and estimate and give best spoke advice- To be able to act as Bid Manager on Pre booked clients during face to face site visit- To effectively manage other Estimating Team members at Bid Stage.- To fully demonstrate the experience requisite with the role.Sourcing manager:you will be prepearring the most effective costs from our main supliers and reporting to Bid team/Estimator and signed aproval from managing directorYou must have good marketting experriance with suppliers.
